I’ve enjoyed piecing together a few LEGO projects like the Black Pearl but the Death Star is a whole different ball game.  I think I’m still in work up mode toward that much LEGO geekery and my project assistance need to grow and develop with a few more projects before tackling something of this magnitude, but at this price I’m jumping!  I can’t tell you how much fun building the Black Pearl with my little one was so imagine this project!!!  For those that are ready to join me:

Amazon has the LEGO Star Wars Death Star (10188) for $339.99.  Obviously not an impulse buy but if you’ve been looking to piece this puppy together at a discounted rate this is your chance.  This is the best price I’ve seen ever by $20.

I’m not sure you’re fully able to raise a geek without a book like Star Wars: Millennium Falcon- A 3-D Owner’s Guide!  For a massive price of $2.66 (down from around$20) you really can’t go wrong in picking this little gem up.

The Millennium Falcon as you’ve never seen it before!  This novelty format dissects the most famous ship in the galaxy section-by-section, revealing the ship’s secrets and special modifications.  Includes technical notes from Han Solo as well as a detailed overview of each of the ship’s main functions.

At a minimum check out the great Millennium Falcon video they put together to celebrate this fine ship!

Think Geek has the Star Wars Chewbacca Messenger Bag which for less than $75 is my kind of geekery!  For those that know me there is a particular similarity between Chewbacca’s long and lanky stature and my own (sans the Walking Carpet part).  Anyway I thought this was a pretty cool messenger bag with the ability to fully embrace that Star Wars geek in you!  Not bad for a bag that is able to hold that 11″ Macbook Air or iPad.  Remember even in Geekery:

Do or do not, there is no try!  -Master Jedi Yoda
