The First 20 Minutes: Surprising Science Reveals How We Can Exercise Better, Train Smarter, Live Longer was the sixty seventh book of 2015, which I enjoyed.

First 20 Minutes goes from exercise myth to exercise myth and demolishes them.  It is impressive reviewing what I once considered required and learning that that thing I was doing was flat wrong.  I’ve learned a little bit about my body during runs and to have findings validated by the First 20 Minutes was vindicating.  Stretching…bleh; warming up… great but not too much!  Level of hydration issues; drink to thirst not time.  Need all this other stuff… no… not really.  Read First 20 Minutes, then make your 2016 exercise plan.  You’ll be glad you did!  I know it has already made me modify the draft plans I have been developing in my head.  It will make me alter further the plans and goals I intend to put down in pen for 2016.

The First 20 Minutes is an easy read which will open your eyes and understanding on what has taken over our exercise knowledge, solely from marketing or historical process (i.e. lack of scientific knowledge and understanding).
